Manager Kevin Boles is featured today as my quote of the day. As all Blue Sox fans know Alex Johnson isn't as fast or agile as most baseball players, so Kevin made this joke about Alex after he hit a scorching line drive to the right field wall.
"And good job Alex on stretching that single into a double from that line drive to the wall"
For a runner with average speed anything hit to the wall is a sure double, but for Alex, it's not quite the same. I think everyone in the team laughed, even Alex. Safe to say we know how to have some fun on this team.
